Dr Edmund Wong She – BHB, MBChB, FRACGP, DCH
Male, Joined the practice in 2018
Background - Dr Edmund Wong She graduated in 1995 from the University of Auckland. He trained and worked as a GP in New Zealand before moving to Australia in 2001.He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and part time examiner. He has been a trainer of medical students, GP residents and GP registrars over the years. Dr Wong She relocated to Sydney at the end of 2017 after spending 13 years working as a GP and partner at Toomina Medical Centre in Coffs Harbour. He moved to Sydney so his children could learn Mandarin as a second language.
Special Interests - He enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a special interest in diabetes, aged care and chronic medical conditions.
Personal Interests - When not working, he is busy with his family, supporting anything New Zealand .. and reminding his children to practice their Mandarin!
Availability - Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5pm, Alternate Saturday: 8am to 12pm
Dr. Renata Chapman-Konarska – MD, PHD, FRACGP
Female, Joined the practice in 1987
Background - Dr Renata Chapman, MD, PHD, FRACGP has been working at this practice since 1989. She is interested in all issues of general practice and in particular in women's health, endocrinology and geriatrics. She is currently working at the practice three days per week, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Languages spoken English and Polish.
Special Interests - Endocrinology/ diabetes, Women's health and Geriatrics
Personal Interests - When not working, she teaches medical students at the University of Sydney.

Dr Sheana Hettiaratchi – BSc, MBBS, DipRACOG, FRACGP
Female, Joined the practice in 2007
Background - Dr Hettiaratchi has been working at this practice for 12 years. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and works full time. She graduated from UNSW in 1987. Her training included a year working at Westmead Childrens Hospital.
Special Interests - travel medicine, discussions regarding nutrition, exercise, and prevention.
Personal Interests - In her spare time she enjoys walking, reading and spending time with her teenage children and dog.

Dr Allan Darroch – MBBS, BMaths
Male, Joined the practice in 2016
Background - Dr Allan Darroch has been a family doctor for more than 40 years. He initially obtained a degree in Mathematics from Newcastle University and worked for BHP Limited in their research department before attending Sydney University where he obtained his medical degree. Allan spent 36 years working as a General Practitioner at Lake Macquarie where he saw and treated a lot of skin cancer problems.
Special Interests - He has a special interest in skin checks.

Dr David Rowed – MBBS (Hons), FRACGP
Male, Founded practice in 1980
Background - Dr David Rowed is one of the founders of the practice. He has been an integral part of relief organisation in developing countries India, South Africa (including Amazon) and Bangladesh. He headed Australian and International teams in Health Information Research & Communication. Enjoys teaching young GP Registrars. Fluent in English and Spanish
Special Interests - Skin Care, Research in Health Information, Infectious Diseases, Tropical Medicine, all aspects of General Family Medicine

Dr Valerie Qu – MBBS, DCH, FRACGP
Female, Joined the practice in 2021
Background - Dr Valerie Qu graduated medicine from the University of New South Wales and did her general practice training in Sydney. She obtained a diploma of child health through the University of Sydney in 2013 and has been working as a GP since 2015.
Special Interests - She has an interest in all aspects of women's health, including antenatal shared care, contraception, cervical screening and wellbeing. She also enjoys children's health and preventative medicine.
Personal Interests - When not working, she enjoys snowboarding, playing badminton and spending time with her dog..
Availability - Monday, Thursday: 8:30am to 5:30pm, Saturday (once a month): 8am to 12pm
Dr Ronald Yuen – MBBS, MSurg
Male, Recently joined the practice in August 2021
BackgroundDr Ronald Yuen graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2013. He completed his residency in Concord Hospital and has spent 6 years working in areas of surgery in the Northern Sydney and Central Coast regions.
Special interestAll areas of general practice with special interest in skin excisions.
Personal Interestsoutside of medicine, he enjoys tennis and travelling.

Allied Health

Alexandra Herzfeldt – Psychologist – Med,Labsc. BPsych (Hons)
Alex is a warm, compassionate and client focused Psychologist, currently holding General Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Prior to commencing her career in Psychology Alex worked in the healthcare sector in Germany supporting frontline doctors with clinical pathology analyses.
Alex is adept at building strong relationships with clients of all ages from varied culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. She has a wealth of experience working with individuals displaying a range of concerns including Anxiety, Depression, trauma, stress, substance misuse, work related problems as well as re-settlement and migration issues.
Alex utilises Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She maintains a non-judgmental, warm and personable approach, with unconditional positive regard towards her clients within therapy. Her therapeutic style is founded on collaboration between her as the therapist and the client, through a therapeutic alliance, resulting in successful outcomes for the clients she works with. Alex’s perspective is highly integrative, largely influenced by positive Psychology, with an innate curiosity to explore behavioural traits and their implication on clients emotional well-being.
Alex has a background in working with Lifeline Australia as well as Forensic Services and is currently employed by Relationships Australia as an Educator. She is of German background, is fluent in German and frequently travels between her homes in both Germany and Australia. Alex has a wealth of experience in running businesses and corporate events, particularly in the luxury mega-yacht industry within Australia
Personal Interests - She enjoys socialising with friends and de-stresses by spending time at the beach, either swimming or running.

Erika Hung – Dietitian
Background - Erika is a qualified Accredited Practicing Dietitian who is passionate about empowering her patients to make their health goals a reality. She is dedicated to working with her patients, taking the time to understand their individual lifestyles and creating small achievable health behaviour changes that they can sustain lifelong.
Special Interests - Erika has experience in helping her patients manage a range of health conditions through their diets, in particular chronic diseases such as T2DM, heart disease and weight management. During her degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, she has also grown a strong interest in plant-based nutrition, gut health and women’s health. With a passion for continuously learning, she is committed to ensuring she is up-to-date with the latest evidence in her areas of speciality and the ever-evolving field of nutrition. She greatly enjoys translating the complex scientific nutrition information she learns into personalised, easy-to-digest and practical advice for her patients. Erika also enjoys spreading her knowledge in food and nutrition through group education sessions, cooking classes and short blog articles.
Personal Interests - In her spare time, Erika enjoys getting outdoors, taking long walks and finding new cafes to enjoy food with her family and friends. She believes the social settings and the people we enjoy food with are equally important as the nutrients within them and hopes to carry this belief through the way she practices.

Ivan Chik – Physiotherapist
Ivan has obtained his physiotherapy degrees from The University of Sydney and The University of Newcastle with more than 10 years of experience. Ivan has extensive experience as a sports physiotherapist in providing the rehabilitation of injuries to athletes. He has a strong passion for sports and has worked in various sports teams including soccer (NPL QLD) and netball Queensland. Upon returning to Sydney where he grew up, Ivan has worked with athletes from NRL and A-league soccer. Ivan has extensive post-graduate training in many areas including Acupuncture and Dry Needling, Muscle Energy Techniques, Mulligans and McKenzie techniques. Ivan specialises in the treatment of headaches, neck and temporo mandibular (TMD) disorders. Ivan is committed to providing the best evidence based practice and focuses on identifying the root cause of the problem with the aim of helping his patients to achieve speedy recovery and prevention of future recurrences of symptoms.
Availability - Friday: 2pm to 5pm.
Christopher Fung – Exercise Physiologist
Christopher graduated with a Bachelors of Applied Science (Exercise Physiology Hons.) from Sydney University. Since graduating, Christopher has worked in private practice and aged care settings working with people from various walks of life. Christopher firmly believes that exercise is for everyone and that it not only enables people to live fulfilling lives but also reduces risk of and reverses medical complications.s.
Special Interest - Cardiometabolic Diseases, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Neurological/Neuromuscular conditions and general strength & conditioning..
Personal Interest - Christopher enjoys following a plethora of sports including but not limited to MMA, football, cricket and basketball. He has played many sports in the past but is currently applying his skills on the futsal courts and training in the gym..

Dr Kevin Ho (BAppSc(Phty), PhD) – Physiotherapist
Dr Kevin Ho teaches Physiotherapy and Clinical Education at the Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of Sydney. He is a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapy clinician with a focus on consulting for people in the video gaming industry. He completed his PhD on sleep and musculoskeletal pain in 2020 and now leads musculoskeletal health and performance research for video gaming / electronic sports (esports). He is also involved in content creation (Youtube/Twitch) with 1 Health Providence, an international team of health professionals with expertise in esports.
Kevin completed his physiotherapy degree with honours at the University of Sydney in 2013. His clinical experiences include working at public hospitals, aged care facilities and multidisciplinary medical centres. He teaches across the musculoskeletal units of the Undergraduate and Master university level physiotherapy programs, and is always delighted to mentor budding physiotherapists.

Murdina is our senior receptionist and has worked at the practice for over 5 years. She is passionate about providing exemplary customer service and helping everyone around her. At home she enjoys spending time with her family and her son's cat Moet.
Olivia Cranwell – Receptionist
Olivia is our newest receptionist. She is from Melbourne, though now calls Sydney "home". When not at work, Olivia enjoys performing at the Opera.
Sheridan Hughes – Receptionist
Sheridan is our new receptionist. She is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and is kind & helpful. She has recently moved to Sydney and loves enjoying Sydney's beautiful beaches. She also holds a Masters degree in Opera Performance.

Cheryl Thomas – Practice Nurse
Cheryl has been working as a practice nurse with us since over 7 years. She is an accredited nurse immuniser.
Special interests - Musculoskeletal disorders, Chronic Disease Management, Mental Health, Wound Care, Care coordination and Healthy Ageing. In her spare time she volunteers with St John Ambulance.
